Privacy Notice - for Volunteers

GENERAL DATA PROCTECTION REGULATIONs (GDPR) COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT

As you may be aware new data protection regulations have come into force from 25th May 2018, concerning the personal data which Dynamic Future Together Community Interest Company holds.  Data Protection Legislation allows us to process the collected data as we regard it as being in the clubs’ “Legitimate Interest”. This could be in the form of

  • Your name
  • Address
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone numbers
  • Next of kin’s contact telephone number
  • Car, MOT & Insurance details (for those volunteers who help us with transport)

We use the data to inform you about our news, rotas, events and for use in emergency.

Your information is kept securely locked at our company’s office. The information we hold is on our database which is held electronically in a password protected file. It is only shared amongst the Administration team who runs the clubs: Let’s Do Lunch at Dorcas Centre; Let’s Do Lunch at Ryarsh and Circle of Friends.  

You have the right to ask to see any information we hold about you by submitting a “Subject Access Request”, in writing, to Dynamic Future Together Community Interest Company’s office which is:

C/O 4-6 New Road, Ditton, Aylesford, Kent. ME20 6AD.

You also have the right to ask for your data to be rectified if you believe it to be incorrect.

If you are concerned about the way your information is being handled please speak to me. If you are still unhappy you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.
